(Українська) У Музеї Корсаків презентують новий виставковий проєкт Василя Дмитрика not to open, stored forever
On April 22 at 5:00 PM, the Korsaks’ Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art will host the lecture “A Brief History of Ukrainian Photography: From the 1970s to Today.”
During the lecture, we will explore the stages of development of Ukrainian photography. We will look at examples of how photography became an alternative language when censorship dominated the official media space, and trace the connections between the country’s history and the history of photography.
The lecturer is Kateryna Radchenko — photography researcher, curator, and founder of the international festival Odesa Photo Days.
Entry is free.
At this exhibition, the artist will present works from the last five years — a visualization of the vibrations perceived by his membrane. These are works without “black colors,” as there is always a color that needs to be listened to.
Volodymyr Bovkun is not searching for a niche in art — he is creating one. His art does not require titles; it demands presence and deep immersion into the material. As he himself says, “I don’t work — I perform shamanism.”
Exhibition curator: Kateryna Mykhailyuk.
We invite you to experience art that must be felt.
A large-scale retrospective exhibition by renowned Lviv-based artist Liudmyla Davydenko will open at the Korsaks’ Museum on April 4 at 5:00 PM. Titled Orbit, the show encompasses key stages of the artist’s creative journey — from ceramics to painting, from painting to sculpture. This constant movement is the very essence of “Orbit” — a cycle of change, of internal and external transformations that never truly end, but instead evolve into new spirals.
Orbit is a story about the human experience of time, loss, strength, and hope. Series such as Rhizome, Head, Isolines, The Language of Hands, One… Another, and others shape a multi-dimensional structure in which the line — the central visual tool — weaves together painting, sculpture, and space. The works were created over different periods, including during the full-scale war, and reflect a profound act of introspection, inner resistance, and the search for grounding through art.
The exhibition ends with an open question: what’s next? Because life, like art, is in constant motion — revolving around new meanings.
Admission is free. You are warmly invited!
