On September 30 at 5:00 PM, the large-scale exhibition project “Universe Inside Out” by Alina Haieva will open at Korsaks’ Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art as part of the ENTER Youth Art Platform.

The project is a visual map of human memory, where different eras, cultural codes, and artistic references come together. The boundaries between past and future, sacred and everyday, reality and imagination become blurred.

The central figures — Adam and Eve — appear outside their traditional biblical context. Adam represents a human being shaped by labour and art, while Eve, borrowed from Hieronymus Bosch’s triptych, carries the knowledge of sin, death, and loss. Around them unfolds a multilayered world of imagery that brings together art history, Ukrainian cultural heritage, and the artist’s personal symbolism.

“Universe Inside Out” invites us to see the human being as a living archive of culture. Every encounter, every book we read, every artistic image, historical event, and personal experience leaves its mark, continuously shaping our identity.

Alina Haieva is an artist, illustrator, and tattoo artist. In her practice, she explores Ukrainian cultural heritage and considers the human being an inseparable part of their environment and of an endless process of creation.
