MEDIAHUMAN: NEW ART PROJECT AT THE KORSAKS’ MUSEUM OF THE CONTEMPORARY UKRAINIAN ART

This time an even more unusual exhibition at the Korsaks’Museum of the Contemporary Ukrainian Art: a giant sphere formed of interconnected textiles and several TV sets stands in the center of, divided by the walls into three zones, room. To the right, the ceiling and wall are supported by strange similar to construction structures Deeper in that part of the hall directional rays of light snatch from the gloom tiled cans, springs and other urban junk. On the walls there is urban graphics, and several screens blurry show different parts of Lviv. The right sector of the room was allocated for three mysterious white cones of different heights. On the wall to the right of the entrance hangs a uniform pierced through by several hundred needles.

All this is the Lviv artist Mykhailo Barabash MEDIAHUMAN project.

Art critic Zoya Navrotska  told about Mykhailo Barabash as the artist, working in a variety of ways, and greeted attendees.

The artist himself explains that he has a strong academic education, on the basis of which he dared to conduct such bold artistic experiments. The« Self-portrait» interactive art object attracted the special attention of the viewers. These seemingly strange cones contained inside portraits of Mykhailo Barabash stylized by three Buddhist monkeys who ignore evil.
