On October 2 at 5:00 PM, Korsaks’ Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art invites you to the opening of Khrystyna Pryimak’s exhibition project “Lost in the Grass.”

Throughout our lives, we are constantly losing something — people, time, connections, points of reference, traditions. Losses, both great and small, remain with us — sometimes as memories, sometimes as a feeling of something irretrievably gone.

In her artistic practice, Khrystyna Pryimak draws on motifs of Ukrainian folk art, particularly the ceramics, embroidery, and pysanka traditions of the Sokal region. At the same time, her works go beyond direct references to tradition: her abstract compositions retain a connection to the nature of her native land, its plants, and the living organisms that inhabit the artist’s inner world.

“Lost in the Grass” is about memory and loss, childhood dreams and the adult awareness of irreversibility. About what we leave behind — and what continues to live within us.

The project is curated by Orest Holubets, Professor, Doctor of Art Studies, and Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

Opening: October 2, 2026 | 5:00 PM
